OCD Therapy
Treating OCD requires a unique approach that doesn’t fuel the OCD cycle. I specialize in working with young adults experiencing OCD and anxiety, particularly those who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, doubt, and constant “what if” thinking.
I use Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), a research-supported approach specifically designed for OCD. I-CBT focuses on the reasoning process behind OCD rather than just the symptoms. In OCD, it’s not simply that a thought appears — it’s that the mind begins to treat imagined possibilities as if they are real and urgent.
This approach helps you:
Recognize when OCD is pulling you into hypothetical or imagined scenarios
Reconnect with what you actually know to be true
Step out of cycles of doubt and mental checking
Build trust in your own perceptions and judgment
I work with young adults navigating OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), chronic worry, perfectionism and self-doubt, and major life transitions.
